Momentum Rocks Interbike with CITY STYLE

Once again Momentum Magazine shows the world what urban cycle fashion is all about. The Interbike CITY STYLE Fashion Show represented 12 cities across the nation with sizzle and sass. On Wednesday afternoon in the Urban Yard at Interbike the show went off without a hitch.

New York, Philadelphia, Vancouver… Molly Millar, Momentum Magazines Stye Editor calmly directed traffic from behind the scenes as models stepped on stage in front of a glowing representation of each city.

Also on the scene was Mia Kohout, Publisher at Momentum and dynamic CITY STYLE MC. This is the third year that Momentum has entranced Interbike attendees with cool, casual urban fashions. With each year the show continues to to grow and run with greater ease. With only one day for fittings and rehearsal the Momentum crew managed a fluid, peppy show.

Momentum models aren’t your everyday runway walkers. Each rider has a story to tell. From advocacy to media to the bike shop, they all play a roll in making cycling more accessible to everyone. There were smiles and laughter all around as models tried to master the art of timing and skillfully riding the ramps to the stage during Tuesday’s practice. The crowded Urban Yard, bright lights, big cameras and booming music did not deter these everyday cyclists. Behind the scenes the preparation was apparent, each model knew exactly what to do and where to go. A few quick changes and they were back on stage.

Several Interbike exhibitors contributed pieces to the show. Molly Millar skillfully combined styles from Club Ride, Po Campo, Nona Varnado, Handsome Cycles, Electra and many more.

Didn’t get to catch the show? There’s one more chance to get your CITY STYLE on. Thursday at 2pm the ladies and gentlemen will strut their stuff on the Fashion Stage in the Urban Yard. Don’t miss it!
