The course featured rolling terrain and a small hill climb. Team America was on the offensive. The first 50km leading into the circuits went off at a comfortable pace without any real excitement. Things got a little bit more heated in the circuits, but still nobody attacked.

There was a little climb after the circuits and Team America started attacking, but Team Australia and DNA p/b K4 weren’t having any of that. There was a big crash right before the QOM. Riders were left with some solid bumps and bruises but all walked away despite a few broken bikes.

Heading to the finish a bunch sprint erupted with an American lead out train.

Lauren Hall took the win for stage 2 for Team America with Lauren Kitchen of Team Australia hot on her heels.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_text_separator title=”Stage 2 Results” title_align=”separator_align_center” color=”grey”][vc_column_text]1 Lauren Hall (USA) United States 3:57:50
