Your Next Bicycle Could be Made of Cardboard

.
On a trip to the local bike shop, Izhar Gafni learned of a man making canoes out of cardboard. Not only was he fascinated but after some careful thought, became determined to apply this idea to building a bicycle. “The bicycle is my sort of hobby. That’s what I do in my free time. Women in North Korea Regain the Right to Ride

.
For the past 20 years women have not been allowed to ride bikes in North Korea. Chinese media reported on Friday that the ban has been lifted. Every time that I walked by a Chrome display over the last couple of years – in shops or at trade events – I envied the men and their shoes. When I opened the box to reveal Chrome’s Delores, there was a drum roll in my mind. [...]

Going Pro :: Get There Fast

.
Hi.  My name is Karen Jarchow, and I’m addicted to mountain biking. They say admitting you have a problem is the first step in to recovery. However, to my parent’s dismay I truly hope I never lose this addiction. I discovered mountain biking three years ago. This was the pivotal point of my life where I found the true definition of happiness, facilitated by two wheels, crammed into borrowed toe numbing shoes, all while ignoring a non-union fractured leg. I [...]
