RAAM Challenge Series Invite [GBL]

You Love to Ride, We Have a Challenge

.
That’s right.  We are talking to you. Our friends at RAAM have offered up a special invitation to the ladies.  Join us for a beautiful day in the saddle, exploring the amazing roads of Oregon.  It will be a challenge.  It will be an adventure.  And we want you to come ride with us. We will be riding the Grand Fondo.  Yes, 120 sweet miles on the road with just over 5600 ft. of elevation gain.  All rides are non-competitive [...]

Hard Working Mother of Two Makes Strides to Get More Women on Mountain Bikes

.
When you think of mountain biking, places like Indiana may not intuitively pop into your head. I recently discovered Indiana does indeed have great mountain biking, but more importantly, it has a woman on a mission to grow the sport. Tania Juillerat decided to try mountain biking in March 2005 at the ripe age of 26. She hadn’t ridden a bike since she was 12, and that first taste of dirt had her hooked and wanting more. Struggling to find [...]

This is What Happens When You Race CX in July…

.
The fine folks at Raleigh put on a pretty fantastic show last week with their Midsummer Nights Cyclocross Race at Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. More importantly, this was a real race [...]

Even though it is the second annual Raleigh Midsummer Nights Cross race in July… it still just doesn’t seem right. Maybe its because its JULY, its 90 degrees here in Colorado or maybe because we didn’t see it for ourselves year one. No matter. The Raleigh Midsummer Nights Cross Race will proceed on July 24th during Lifeboat Events’ DealerCamp at Deer Valley Resorts’ Snow Park Basin in Park City, Utah. While exhibitors and attendees enjoy happy hour, the race will explode through the [...]

Giro Trentino Donne :: Noemi Cantele wins Stage 1

.
Many fans will have been concerned that the organiser’s decision to adopt an unusually flat parcours might make for a less interesting Giro Trentino Donne this year – an especial worry when the race has already been shortened from three days to two due to financial problems as reduced interest might very well spell the end of the 19-year-old race. However, in any form of cycling the personalities and riding styles of those who take part count towards the overall success of [...]
