Bikes Belong Awards $100,000 in Green Lane Project Grants

In 2012, Bikes Belong launched an innovative new program: the Green Lane Project. Designed to help six focus cities build a network of protected bike lanes and related bicycle facilities, this initiative has spurred greater commitment and investment from the participating communities while inspiring others to follow their lead. Top bike advocate Jenn Dice to join Bikes Belong staff in 2013

After more than a decade leading the Government Affairs department of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA), Jenn Dice will join the staff of Bikes Belong in February 2013 as Vice President of Government Relations. Dice will direct a new Bikes Belong project, the Bohm Strategy Center, which will create a strategic repository of information on bicycling businesses, key contacts, allies and supporters in all 50 states.
