Bikes Belong in running for $250,000 Chase Community Grant

The Bikes Belong Foundation is up for a $250,000 Chase Community Giving Grant. After a few days of voting, we are ranked 14th, just 500 votes outside of the top ten. If we win the grant, it will go to help PeopleForBikes.org reach its goal of one million people (we are at 600,000 supporters now) and to the Green Lane Project, our new campaign to fast-track the installation of protected bike lanes in U.S. cities. We’re sad to report that on Monday, August 20, Bikes Belong founding member Leslie Bohm passed away at his home in Boulder, Colorado. Leslie helped start Bikes Belong and was a devoted member of our Coalition and Foundation boards.
