Christine Grant
Christine M. Grant thinks the bicycle might be a key solution for dramatically reducing fossil fuel consumption, while helping to create livable, beautiful, and healthy cities in the 21st century. Christine recently returned to her hometown, Seattle, after traveling extensively throughout Europe and Japan experiencing the world’s most bike-friendly cities. She believes that with a combination of infrastructure improvements, effective cycling promotion campaigns, and education any city can transform itself into a great cycling city.
Christine now works as an active transportation consultant in Seattle and writes about solo bike touring, utility cycling, travel, and urban transportation policy in her spare time. The bicycle is her preferred means of transportation for long, short, urban, and rural trips.
